Code of Conduct

In order to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Decree of the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises number Kep-117/M-MBU/2002 dated July 31, 2002 was established on the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance Practices at the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

PT PIM since 2007 has sought to implement the GCG principles in the corporate culture, which is a culture that implements Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence and Fairness.

The implementation of the GCG principles aims to optimize all potentials for the company to have a strong competitiveness so as to maintain its existence in order to achieve corporate objectives. In addition, it will also encourage the management of the company to be professional, efficient and effective, as well as empower corporate functions and organs in making decisions and running the company's activities, which are predicated on high moral standards and compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Implementing this culture is not an easy thing to do because the external and internal conditions always change. Therefore, it should always be reviewed and improvements to existing GCG policies in PIM should be made in order to keep the policy materials in line with the development of policies, regulations and current conditions.

Ministry of SOEs also did their part by issuing new regulations on the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance number Per 01/MBU/2011 dated August 1, 2011 as a refinement of the Decree of Ministry of SOEs number Kep-117/M-MBU/2002 dated July 31, 2002.

With this new provision, it is expected that the implementation of GCG in PIM will run well and its reference will be detailed in the Code of Conduct. Therefore, we as the mandate holder of the Shareholders expect your active participation in order that the Code of Conduct can become a reference for PT PIM corporate in carrying out its duty; and also to provide added values in the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT PIM’s environment.
